This recipe is not really like the traditional Hedgehog Slice I loved as a kid, but it is packed full of whole foods with healthy fats and grain free flour.
A perfect slice to quickly put together if visitors are coming over or even that 3pm afternoon snack.

When choosing a dark chocolate make sure you check the ingredients for other additives such as vegetable gums, emulsifiers and extra sugar. Some cooking chocolate can have up to 30% refined sugar.
If you are still struggling to find a chocolate suitable to your baking needs, try cacao paste. It is the main ingredient in all chocolate making and doesn't have any added sugar. Cacao paste is often sold in small 500g or 1kg blocks, so just shave off what you need and add it to your recipe.
